Yawners (ES)

Veni, vidi, vici

They say guitars are coming back, although in fact they never went away: they were out partying. Listening to the first album by the Salamanca artist Elena Nieto, vocals and guitar, and Martín Muñoz, drums and backing vocals, is to go back to the pop-punk of Blink 182, with a little The Offspring and even a hint of de Sum 41. It is to go back to the adolescence of some and the adulthood of others. It is also the eternal return to songs where you shout at the top of your lungs, sweating among friends and chucking beer everywhere as you pogo. Yawners have come to remind us that both skateboarding and Avril Lavigne are still alive. We are already in total emo mood. What about you?
